Perspectives and reflections of the virtual educational process carried out in the Professor Delia Valera de Diaz State School

This research aims to describe some reflections of teachers, parents, representatives and students of the Professor Delia Antonia Valera de Díaz State School, on the virtual teaching-learning process developed during the COVID-19 global pandemic. The study is based on a qualitative approach with an interpretive phenomenological design. The population for the study consisted of one hundred and ninety-five people. Semi-structured interviews were used to collect the data. The results showed that from various perspectives, the teaching-learning process developed during this time did not meet any of the expectations provided by the different actors in the educational process for multiple reasons: a lack of training or permanent updating of teachers to develop skills in distance education, and use of technological tools and guidance to parents with strategies focused on the teaching-learning process
