Innovative Research in Clinical and Health Psychology V
Investigaciones Innovadoras en Psicología Clínica y de la Salud V
Abstract
Mental health continues to consolidate as one of the most pressing challenges in contemporary public health, not only due to its increasing prevalence but also because of the complexity of its determinants. In this context, Clinical Psychology and Health Psychology converge as fundamental fields for understanding, intervening in, and transforming the conditions that affect human well-being, integrating biopsychosocial, cultural, and technological perspectives that expand beyond traditional models of care. The fifth special issue of Innovative Research in Clinical and Health Psychology is framed within this disciplinary evolution, bringing together studies that not only describe current problems but also propose innovative approaches to address them. The contributions included in this issue reflect a clear transition from disease-centered models toward comprehensive frameworks that emphasize the promotion of well-being and prevention.
