Abstract

Como Barroco se entiende el estilo arquitectónico realizado en los siglos XVII y parte del XVIII (1600a 1750), caracterizado por la profusión de adornos en contraposición con el estilo sobrio del Renacimiento clásico. Por extensión se aplica también el término Barroco a las obras de pintura, escultura,literatura y música realizadas en ese mismo período de tiempo.
