Abstract

Objective: To strengthen the knowledge and skills in basic electronics for students with hearing disabilities through a problem-based teaching strategy and an inclusive Digital Educational Resource (DER). Methods: A mixed-approach study, with an explanatory scope based on action research and a quasi-experimental design, was developed. The sample consisted of four ninth-grade students with hearing disabilities from a Colombian educational institution. A pretest and a posttest were applied to measure the level of knowledge, and a field diary was used to record the students’ behavior.
