Anormalidades vasculares retinianas en neurofribromatosis con documentación de un hamartoma vascular puro no descrito

El autor comunica la experiencia obtenida con anomalías vasculares retinianas presentes en pacientes portadores de las dos variantes mejor conocidas de neurofibromatosis: neurofibromatosis tipo 1, también, llamada enfermedad de von Recklinghausen o forma “periférica” y neurofibromatosis tipo 2 (forma “central” o “acústica”).
The author present an experience, consisting in variousretinal abnormalities, in patients with neurofibromatosis type 1, the so called von Recklinghausendisease or peripheral neurofibromatosis and neurofibromatosis type 2, also known as central or acoustic neurofibromatosis. The study considers eleven patients,two with neurofibromatosis-2, and nine with neurofibromatosis-1, out off 38 patients with neuro-fibromatosisseen during 19 years at the Neuro-ophthalmology Unit of Vargas’ Hospital in Caracas.
