Igualdad y conflicto en Hobbes

Abstract

El presente trabajo analiza, en el contexto de la filosofía de Thomas Hobbes, los argumentos con los que el filósofo inglés sostiene la hipótesis que la igualdad entre los hombres conduce a la inseguridad y al conflicto, por lo que se hace necesario la creación de un Leviatán que elimine la inseguridad y permita la paz, el goce y la industria. Se pretende mostrar que los argumentos son objetables desde varios puntos de vista, en especial desde la concepción del mismo Hobbes del hombre natural.Abstract
The present paper analyzes, in the context of the philosophy of Thomas Hobbes, the arguments with which the English philosopher supports equality among men that leads to insecurity and then to conflict, therefore is made necessary the creation of a Leviathan that eliminates the insecurity and allows peace, the wellbeing and industry. It is intended to show that the arguments are objectionable from several points of view, especially from the same conception of Hobbes of the natural man.
