Resumen. Esta nota tiene el propósito de describir formalmente el patrón de coloración en vida de Pristobrycon careospinus Fink y Machado-Allison, 1992. Además, se presenta información sobre algunos aspectos del hábitat y la comunidad de peces donde se registra la especie.

Notes on the color pattern and ecological aspects of Pristobrycon careospinus Fink and Machado-Allison, 1992 (Serrasalmidae)

Abstract. This note is intended to formally describe the life color pattern of Pristobrycon careospinus Fink and Machado-Allison, 1992 and to give information on aspects of the habitat, and the ichthyofauna where the species was located.
