Objective: To evaluate the fetal hepatic artery pulsatility index in pregnant women with hypertensive disorders of pregnancy admitted to the Maternal-Fetal Medicine service of the Concepción Palacios Maternity Hospital. Methods: Observational, prospective, descriptive study. Non-probabilistic sample constituted by 100 patients distributed in: 50 patients with hypertensive disorders in pregnancy and 50 healthy patients with gestational age of 20-40 weeks, fetal hepatic artery Doppler ultrasound was performed with measurement of pulsatility index. Results: The fetal hepatic artery pulsatility index in pregnant women with hypertensive disorders of pregnancy was 1.45 ± 0.30, significantly higher than in healthy pregnant women (p ˂ 0.001). Evidencing the highest mean in those with initial centralization phase 1.81 ± 0.11. Conclusion: Patients with hypertensive disorders of pregnancy have alterations in fetal hepatic artery blood flow according to the stage of uteroplacental dysfunction
