Cavidades Cardiacas Fetales en Gestaciones Normales: Nomograma por Percentiles

Abstract

Objetivo: Elaborar un nomograma por percentiles de las medidas normales de las cavidades cardiacas fetales según la edad gestacional en un grupo de gestantes sanas con embarazos de evolución normal, entre 18 y 36 semanas de gestación, atendidas en la consulta de ecografía del Servicio de Medicina Materno Fetal de la Maternidad Concepción Palacios durante el de periodo marzo-septiembre 2021. Métodos: Estudio prospectivo, descriptivo, correlacional, transversal que incluye una muestra no probabilística de 190 pacientes. Se realizó la medición de las cavidades cardiacas en un corte axial de tórax fetal donde se muestren las cuatro cámaras cardiacas en proyección apical para obtener el valor del diámetro transverso de ambas aurículas y ventrículos. Se estableció la correlación entre edad gestacional y medidas cardiacas mediante los datos obtenidos y se elaboraron las respectivas tablas por percentiles. Resultados: El diámetro transverso de la aurícula derecha oscila entre 7,0 y 18,0mm. En cuanto al diámetro transverso de la aurícula izquierda oscila entre 5,6 y 15,0 mm. Mientras que el diámetro transverso del ventrículo derecho oscilo entre 5,4 y 18,0 mm. Por último, el diámetro transverso del ventrículo izquierdo oscilo entre 5,4 y 15,9 mm. Conclusiones: El Análisis de Regresión entre las variables, edad gestacional y la medida de cada una de las 4 cavidades cardiacas arrojaron que existe asociación entre el diámetro de las misma y la edad gestacional. Methods: Prospective, descriptive, correlational, cross-sectional study that includes a non-probabilistic sample of 190 patients. The measurement of the cardiac chambers was performed in an axial section of the fetal thorax where the four cardiac chambers are shown in apical projection to obtain the value of the transverse diameter of both atria and ventricles. The correlation between gestational age and cardiac measurements was established using the data obtained and the respective tables by percentiles were prepared. Results: The transverse diameter of the right atrium ranges from 7.0 to 18.0mm. Regarding the transverse diameter of the left atrium, it ranges between 5.6 and 15.0 mm. While the transverse diameter of the right ventricle ranged between 5.4 and 18.0 mm. Finally, the transverse diameter of the left ventricle ranged between 5.4 and 15.9 mm. Conclusions: The Regression Analysis between the variables, gestational age and the measurement of each one of the 4 cardiac cavities showed that there is an association between their diameter and gestational age
