Resumen

Introduction: Many areas still choose childbirth helpers with non-health workers in Indonesia, such as child shamans, who often cause adverse effects for mothers and babies. This study aimed to identify factors associated with the seclusion of women giving birth in the Merauke District. Methods: This study used a cross-sectional research design, with 57 mothers with toddlers as a sample. The study was conducted for two weeks, from June 29 to July 12, 2021. Data collection used secondary data and primary data. The statistics test contingency correlation.
