La teoría sobre el totalitarismo es amplia y diversa, expresa un nuevo tipo de dominación aplicada en el siglo XX. Con el cambio de realidades políticas, los métodos de control social evolucionan para hacerse más efectivos. El objetivo del trabajo es entonces explicar cómo el totalitarismo tiene como propósito fundamental la anulación del individuo. Para analizar el significado del totalitarismo se realiza una discusión teórica sobre la materia con base en la teoría política, es, por tanto, una investigación de tipo documental y bibliográfica. Se concluye que, pese a sus matices, el totalitarismo logra el quiebre de la voluntad del individuo para crear un nuevo esclavo del sistema que dependa exclusivamente del Estado, busca alterar la naturaleza de los hombres para facilitar su dominación.

Abstract

The theory about totalitarianism is wide and diverse, it expresses a new type of domination applied in the twentieth century. With changing political realities, methods of social control evolve to become more effective. The objective of the work is then to explain how totalitarianism has as its fundamental purpose the annulment of the individual. To analyze the meaning of totalitarianism, a theoretical discussion is carried out on the matter based on political theory, it is therefore a documentary and bibliographic investigation. It is concluded that despite its nuances, totalitarianism achieves the breakdown of the will of the individual to create a new slave of the system that depends exclusively on the state, seeks to alter the nature of men to facilitate their domination.
