Guidelines for authors

The content of the articles must represent a significant contribution to the body of scientific knowledge and must also meet the following requirements:

Article submission

  • Researchers interested in publishing should send an e-mail to RevistaPGID@gmail.com, attaching the article in Word format.
  • Unpublished and original scientific articles will be received throughout the year.
  • Articles should be sent with a letter of agreement between the authors. In this letter, the responsible author and co-authors must declare that the article submitted has not been previously published, as well as their approval regarding the form and content (see section below for submission preparation list).
  • All articles must have as main function to reflect on current issues, of national or international interest, with social relevance, and be aligned to the lines and sub lines of the Graduate Program in Research and Development Management (or under the theme decided by the committees of the journal).
  • The opinions and statements made in the article are the sole responsibility of the authors.
  • The scientific articles submitted must comply with academic and scientific relevance, topicality and bibliographic representativeness, with level of analysis, reflection and creativity.
  • Accepted articles become property of the “Gestión I+D” Journal, and may not be published (in full or in part) without the written consent of the Editorial Committee.
  • Attached to the article must be sent a Declaration of Responsibility and Assignment of Rights (see section below list of preparation of submission), stating the consideration of the scientific article, with express indications of being an original work, not having been published in part or in full in another journal, their knowledge and compliance with the rules of the journal where all authors agree that they have actively participated in the development and execution of the research and that they assign the copyright to the Journal “Gestión I+D”.

  • The scientific articles submitted should be structured in sections (abstract, introduction, methodology, results/discussion, conclusions and references) (depending on the type of article to be submitted). Articles that do not comply with the above-mentioned content will not be accepted.
  • The paragraphs of each section should be separated by a single space, leaving an indentation of one (1) centimeter at the beginning of each paragraph.
  •  Scientific articles should be written single-spaced, with margins of 2.54 cm on all four sides, the typeface should be Arial type, 12 points, on letter size paper and written in Word (should not be blocked or protected), avoid footnotes as much as possible, they should be incorporated into the main text of the scientific article.
  •  The length of the article should not exceed 25 pages and not less than 15 pages, including titles, abstract, tables, charts, tables, all pages should be numbered (in Arabic) at the bottom right, all text should be presented in a single column.
