In this letter, the responsible author and co-authors should state that the submitted article has not been previously published. They should additionally approve the form and content (See section on Checklist for submitting articles).
  • Every article's primary function should be to reflect on current issues, of national or international interest, with social relevance. It should be aligned with the research lines and sub-lines of the Postgraduate Program in Research and Development Management. (Or the topics decided by the committees of the magazine).
  • The opinions and statements issued in the article are the sole responsibility of their authors.
  • Articles submitted should be academically and scientifically relevant, updated, and bibliographically underpinned, with a deep level of analysis, reflection, and creativity.
  • Accepted articles become the property of the Journal, "Gestión I+D," and may not be published (entirely or partially) without the written consent of the Editorial Committee.
  • A Declaration of Responsibility and Transfer of Rights should be attached to the article (See section on Checklist for submitting articles), stating the consideration of the scientific article, expressly indicating that it is an original study and has not been partially or fully published in another journal. It should also include their knowledge of and compliance with the Journal's Standards for authors, which are therein accepted; that they have actively participated in the development and execution of the research, and that they assign the copyright to the Journal "Gestión I+D."

Body of Research

  • Introduction: Expressing the research context or background, nature of the problem, purpose, scope of the study, importance, and the research objectives.
  • Sections: Clear and coherent presentation of the findings (optional)
  • Materials and Methods: Indicating the protocols followed within the investigation, incorporating the population, sample, technical information, statistics, and other procedures that demonstrate the rigor of the work.
  • Results and discussion: A logical enunciation in text, graphs, and tables, in which the findings are specified, emphasizing reflection, analysis, and interpretation, not repeating in the text the data collected in the tables and graphs. These sections may be presented in a single section or separately; as a whole, they should describe the results, how they are interpreted, and how they are related to the hypotheses or objectives presented at the beginning of the investigation.
  • Conclusions: Summary of the verification of the research objectives with their arguments and discussions; incorporating recommendations, proposals, and future lines of research are allowed.

They should also be explicitly cited in the text of the article and inserted after the end of the paragraph in which they were quoted. Numbering should be unique and sequential, regardless of the section where located (separating the sequence between tables and graphs). The data presented in tables or figures should not be repeated in the text, source of origin, or footnotes of the tables and figures; explain the abbreviations and relevant observations.
  • Tables and figures should be converted to JPG format.
  • Citations in the text: Regarding how to cite, the proposed articles should be prepared following the APA publication manual (in its sixth version in English and third in Spanish). Using the surname, date, page system (Suarez H., 2016, pp 50-52), or Suarez H. (2016)…….(pp.50-52).
  • Acknowledgments: If used, they should be included after the conclusions and before the bibliographic references and only for those people and institutions that contributed substantially to the research.
  • Levels in the headings: the sections and subsections of the scientific article should be:
