Resumen

The spider crabs, Eucinetops blakianus Rathbun, 1896 (Inachidae) and Inachoides forceps A. Milne-Edwards, 1879 (Inachoididae) are here reported for the first time for Venezuelan waters. Eucinetops blakianus is a very rare crab, with few records along the Caribbean Sea. Although Inachoides forceps is not rare, the record presented here fills a gap in the distribution of this species previously known from Cape Lookout, North Carolina, US to Santa Catarina, Brazil.
