LOS NIÑOS RECITADORES DE VENEZUELA

Abstract

Este artículo sintetiza un trabajo de investigación mayor realizado sobre los niños recitadores de Venezuela, quienes en diferentes lugares del país ejecutan o presentan performances orales con fines más pragmáticos que estéticos. En ellos recitan textos formados por secuencias discursivas de carácter histórico, religioso y literario. Así, se hace posible, dadas sus características, tipificarlos como un nuevo subgénero de la Literatura Oral venezolana: las Recitaciones Rítmicas.

ABSTRACT
This article sythesizes a previous main work based on the reciting style of those Venezuelan children who, in different places around the country, are able to perform oral presentations with pragmatic rather than aesthetic purposes. Among these recitations it is possible to find discursive sequences on historic, religious and literary plots. According to its main characteristics, it is also possible to tipify them as a sort of a new oral literary Venezuelan subgenre: Rhythmic Recitations.
