RECORDAR Y REÍR: EL DISCURSO AMOROSO DE UNA MUJER POR SIEMPRE JAMÁS

Abstract

En este trabajo se examina el libro Una mujer por siempre jamás (2007), de Ángel Gustavo Infante. Los cuentos de ese título tienen como punto de partida la rememoración de experiencias amorosas, con la cual el narrador evoca anécdotas cuyos protagonistas, en algunos casos, se confunden intencionalmente con el autor. De este modo, los límites entre la ficción y la autobiografía se difuminan. Otro elemento fundamental de estos relatos es la risa que degrada los valores consagrados en el discurso amoroso. Así, Infante, hace uso de un estilo aparentemente autobiográfico para exponer -a quien lee ocho historias de amor- que gracias a lo humorístico relativiza el tema central.

ABSTRACT
In this paper we examine the book Una mujer por siempre jamás (2007) by Ángel Gustavo Infante. We consider that the short stories compiled under this title share the remembrance of love experiences as a starting point. This reminiscence evokes anecdotes whose protagonist is, in some cases, intentionally confused with the author. Therefore boundaries between fiction and autobiography fade away. Another important element in these tales is laughter which shall degenerate those values consecrated to the lover’s discourse. So, Infante using an apparently autobiographical style displays for the reader eight stories about love which thanks to its humor relativize the main topic.
