DESARROLLO DE HABILIDADES COGNITIVO-LINGÜÍSTICA EN ESTUDIANTES UNIVERSITARIOS=DEVELOPMENT OF COGNITIVE-LINGUISTIC SKILLS IN UNIVERSITY STUDENTS

Abstract

En el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje, el desarrollo de las habilidades cognitivo-lingüísticas se vuelve trascendental para un óptimo desempeño en las diversas tareas académicas. El presente artículo tiene como objetivo determinar la importancia que atribuyen estudiantes universitarios a las habilidades cognitivo-lingüísticas en el mejoramiento de los procesos de producción lingüísticos. Los informantes fueron 30 estudiantes de pedagogía de una universidad chilena. Los resultados sugieren una relación entre la adquisición de las habilidades cognitivo-lingüísticas y el desarrollo del pensamiento crítico y de la reflexión. Este hecho desembocaría en un aprendizaje de calidad y significativo para el estudiante.

In the teaching-learning process, the development of cognitive-linguistic skills becomes transcendental for an optimal performance in the diverse academic tasks. The objective of this article is to determine the importance attributed by university students to cognitive-linguistic abilities in the improvement of linguistic production processes. The informants were 30 pedagogy students from a Chilean university. The results suggest a relationship between the acquisition of cognitive-linguistic skills and the development of critical thinking and reflection. This fact would lead to a quality and meaningful learning for the student.
