| Abstract: | We report the species of the genus Aplysia occurring on the Venezuelan coast: Aplysia (Aplysia) juliana Quoy & Gaimard 1832, A. (Varria) brasiliana Rang 1828, A. (Varria) cervina (Dall & Simpson 1901), A. (Varria) dactylomela Rang 1828, and A. (Pruvotaplysia) parvula Morch 1863. Individuals were collected on the littoral rocky-shore and others habitats of different localities of the Venezuela coast (Las Salinas, Taguao, Puerto Viejo, Bahia de Mochima, among others). We describe their morphology (including photos), habitat and known distribution. A taxonomic key to the species of Aplysia of Venezuela is presented. |
