| Abstract: | Branchellion torpedinis Savigny, 1822 a marine leech is reported for the first time from Venezuela. The specimens were collected attached to the pelvic fins of a ray Aetobatus narinari captured near Ocumare de la Costa, Aragua State. A brief description of the specimens in base of morphological characters, morphometrics data and photographs of a specimen is given. |
