Abstract: In order to evaluate the digestibility of a blend of sorghum (NSB) with corn and the addition of an enzyme complex (EC) in roosters. An experiment with 72 rooster distributed in a completely randomized4x2 factorial design with eight roosters y treatment, was conducted. The experimental diets were: 100% corn with EC, 100% NSB without EC, 100% NSB with EC, 20% NSB + 80% corn without EC, 20% NSB + 80% corn with EC, 40% NSB + 60% corn without EC and 40% NSB + 60% corn with EC. The digestibility of dry matter (DDM), true metabolizable energy (TME), true digestibility of nitrogen (TDN), true digestibility of crude fat (TDF) and true digestibility of phosphorus (TDP) were determined. It was observed that the factor “type of diet” affected (P<0.0001) the evaluated response variables, with no effect of the presence of the EC factor. The highest DDM (P<0.0001) was in 100% corn diets without EC (78.62 ± 1.50) and 20% NSB + 80% corn without EC (76.68 ± 0.89). The diet with 100% corn (3608.82 ± 29.43 kcal/kg/DM) and 100% NSB (3420.18 ± 45.41 kcal/kg/MS) showed the highest TME (P<0.0001) with the addition of EC. TME of Diet 20% NSB + 80% corn decreased 15.69% compared to 100% corn diet, which showed a higher TDN (P = 0.001) with 87.25 ± 2.90%. The highest TDF (P<0.0001) was observed in 20% NSB + 80% Corn diet (82.28 ± 5.17%). It is concluded that EC does not affect the digestibility and inclusion of up to 20% NSB in poultry diets is promising.
