| Abstract: | La investigación tiene como objetivo fundamental, caracterizar las frecuencias y los factores asociados a la actividad voluntaria de los donantes que asisten al banco de sangre Hospital Dr. Luis Ortega de Porlamar durante el periodo de septiembre 2012 – marzo 2013. Método: la investigación se ubicó en descriptivo transversal con un diseño de campo, como población y muestra tuvo 60 donantes voluntarios que asistieron al banco de sangre entre el periodo septiembre – marzo 2013, Para recolectar los datos se utilizó una encuesta. Entre Los resultados obtenidos en la investigación se demostró que el 60% de los donantes consultados consideran donar con una frecuencia de seis meses y el 48,33% de los donantes opina que las razones para dejar de donar sangre son por falta de tiempo. |
| Description: | The investigation has as fundamental Objective, characterize the frequencies and the factors associated with the voluntary activity of the donors who are present at the bank of blood Hospital Dr. Luis Ortega de Porlamar during the period of September, 2012 - March, 2013. Method: the investigation is located in descriptively transversely by a field design, as population and sample it had 80 voluntary donors who were present at the bank of blood between the period September - March, 2013, to gather the information a survey was in use. Between The results obtained in the investigation there was demonstrated that 60 % of the consulted donors considers to donate with a frequency of six months and 48,33 % of the donors he thinks that the reasons to stop donating blood it is for lack of time. |
