Centros de Osificación del Sacro. Sacrum Ossification Centers.

Abstract

Se presentan las observaciones obtenidas del estudio realizado a 149 esqueletos de fetos humanos, de ambos sexos, de diferentes edades gestacionales comprendidas entre la séptima y cuadragésima semana de gestación. Para lograr una adecuada observación del material se procedió a teñir las sales de calcio de los núcleos de osificación de los proyectos de hueso, utilizando Alizarina Roja. Nuestros resultados muestran que los núcleos de osificación aparecen en el siguiente orden: 9a semana: el núcleo del cuerpo de la I-II vértebra sacra, 13ª semana: el núcleo del cuerpo de la III vértebra sacra, 16ª semana: el núcleo del cuerpo de la IV vértebra sacra, 21ª semana: el núcleo del cuerpo de la V vértebra sacra, 32ª semana: el núcleo del cuerpo de la I vertebra coccígea y 34ª semana: el núcleo del cuerpo de la II coccígea. En el estudio de la fecha de aparición de los centros de osificación del sacro y de sus elementos constitutivos; hemos podido observar que existen discrepancias con los trabajos presentados por otros autores. SUMMARY The observations from the study of 149 human fetal skeletons are presented; their gestational ages were from 7 to 40 weeks. The ossification nuclei were stained by means of Red Alizarina. Our observations showed that the nuclei had the following order: 9th week the core of the body of I-II sacral vertebra, 13th week: the core of the body of third sacral vertebra, 16th week: the core of body of fourth sacral vertebra, 21st week: the core of body V sacral vertebra, 32nd week: the core of body I coccygeal vertebrae, and at 34th week: the core of body of second coccygeal. In the study of the date of appearance of the ossification centers of sacrum and its constituent elements, we have seen that there are discrepancies with the work presented and the work reported by other authors.
