Los desafíos del desarrollo social inclusivo para América Latina y el Caribe en el marco de la Agenda 2030

Abstract

El propósito de este artículo es identificar y describir algunos de los principales factores que influyen en el surgimiento y la persistencia de las brechas de desigualdad que obstaculizan el logro del desarrollo social inclusivo en el marco de la Agenda 2030 de Desarrollo Sostenible en los países de América Latina y el Caribe. Previamente, se discute el concepto de desarrollo sostenible desde su visión más ecológica y conservacionista hasta su sentido actual, y sus implicaciones en la implementación de la Agenda 2030. Se concluye con una advertencia sobre los riesgos que enfrenta el incumplimiento de este compromiso global. Abstract The purpose of this paper is to identify and describe some of the main factors influencing the emergence and persistence of inequality gaps that hinder the achievement of inclusive social development within the framework of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development in the countries of Latin America and the Caribbean. Previously, the concept of sustainable development is discussed from its most ecological and conservationist vision to its current meaning and its implications in the implementation of the 2030 Agenda. It concludes with a warning about the risks of non-compliance with this global commitment
