To establish the epidemiological behavior of asthma in preschoolers and evaluate the association between asthma and some risk factors in preschoolers of 3 educational institutes of the city of Caracas in 2015. Methods: Cross-sectional study, analyzing the results from the descriptive points of view and comparative analytical. A primary source was used, applied to the children's representatives. Results: Descriptive, rates: prevalence 23.93 x 105; gender: male 27.41 x 105 and female 19.35 x 105, showing no statistically significant difference. According to age: children of 3 years 13.42 x 105; 4 years 23.23 x 105; 5-year-old 42.67 x 105 and 6- year-old 16.26 x 105. When applying an X2 3gl, the 5-year group was a risk factor (X2 5.97 and p 0.014). In the comparative analytical study: Age of 5 years RP 3.74 (LC 1.99-7.01), and 6 years RP 0.38 (LC 0.15-0.96); Background RP 5.33 (LC 1.77- 16.07); RP powder 2.84 (LC 1.21-6.66). Use of curtains RP 0.21 (LC 0.11-0.42). Postgraduate level for mother Fischer 0.049 and a PR of 3.46 (1.44-8.30) The rest of the variables did not show statistically significant difference. A logistic regression was applied, remaining as risk factors, family history RR 6.79 (p 0.003), dust in rooms RR 3.37 (p 0.02) and mother's level of education, post grade RR 12.34 (p 0.01). It can be concluded that with education and health promotion, contact with triggers can be avoideden_US
