| dc.description.abstract | Determinar la prevalencia de hallazgos en FAST en pacientes poli traumatizados. Métodos: Se realizó un estudio prospectivo, observacional y de corte transversal en el Servicio de Radiodiagnóstico del Hospital Miguel Pérez Carreño. Período marzo 2022 a abril 2022. Resultados: Se evaluaron 50 pacientes de los cuales el 70% eran del sexo masculino, la edad promedio fue de 36,7 ±16,6 años, por grupo etario, los de 18 a 29 años de edad representaron el 44% de los casos. La etiología del trauma más frecuente fueron la colisión (48,0%), seguido de los arrollados (26,0%). De lo hallazgos en el FAST sólo un 2% tuvo líquido periesplénico y 2% líquido en espacio hepatorrenal, el resto de los pacientes (96%) no tuvo hallazgo patológico. Conclusiones: El sexo masculino fueron los más afectados. El grupo etario de 18 a 29 años fueron los que más presentaron politraumatismos. La etiología más común fueron los accidentes de tránsito.
