Análisis descriptivo de los motivos de referencia a interconsulta psicológica en la unidad de coloproctología del Instituto Autónomo Hospital Universitario de Caracas

Abstract

Because the new conceptualization of health and the appearance of the Biopsychosocial Model, is constant, in the hospital environment, the interest in the search for a space to create an inter and transdiciplinary team to contribute with the patients' health. Furthermore, the investigation of Pescatori, Spyrou and Pulvirenti (2006) introduce the interest in the relation about psychological diagnostics and colorectal diseases; for this reason, it is constructed a retrospective analysis of the reference motives for psychological consultation evaluated by a group of general surgeons of the Coloproctology specialization of the University Hospital of Caracas. This analysis was done using descriptive statistics (between February to December) .
