dc.descriptionIn this paper we review the published research on the mathematical textbooks of the Bicentennial collection of Venezuela. We selected articles that were published in peer-reviewed journals and papers presented at academic events, that were also widely available on the web. The results indicate that the research carried out is fun- damentally content analysis, where positive aspects are reported, such as appropriate language for the student, but also negative aspects, such as insufficient activities and math problems, in addi- tion to ideological content to highlight government activities. We considered that there is still room to continue researching about the books in this collection; therefore possible research topics are proposeden_US
dc.description.abstractEn este trabajo se revisan las investigaciones publicadas sobre los libros de texto matemáticas de la colección Bicentenario de Venezuela. Se seleccionaron artículos publicados en revistas arbitradas y ponencias presentadas en eventos académicos, que estuvieran disponibles en extenso en la web. Los resultados indican que la investigación realizada es fundamentalmente de análisis de contenido, donde se reportan tanto aspectos positivos, como lenguaje apropiado para el estudiante; y negativos, como insuficiencia de actividades y problemas, además de sesgo ideológico al destacar actividades gubernamentales. Se considera que todavía hay espacio para seguir investigando sobre los libros de esta colección por lo que se proponen posibles investigaciones.en_US
