dc.descriptionObjective: To characterize the pulmonary complications of portal hypertension. Method: 70 patients with HP were evaluated laboratory tests are indicated for calculation of Child Pugh and MELD underwent chest radiography, echocardiography passage of bubbles, which had increased right ventricular systolic pressure was performed right heart catheterization. Those who had pleural effusion was performed thoracentesis. Results: Pulmonary complications of PH were present in (20%), consisted of HH (10%), SHP (4%) and HPP (6%), the rate mortality was (14%). Conclusion: Secondary to portal hypertension pulmonary diseases deserve to be suspected to diagnose. Patients diagnosed with HH, SHP and hypertension were found Hepato porto as pulmonary complications of PH. Pacientes with pulmonary complications secondary to PH are at increased risk of morbidity and mortality.en_US
dc.description.abstractObjetivo: Evaluar la incidencia de las complicaciones pulmonares de la hipertensión portal. Método: Estudio descriptivo observacional, se evaluó 70 pacientes con HP confirmado e indicaron pruebas de laboratorio para cálculo de escala de Child Pugh y score MELD, radiografía de tórax, estudio de líquido pleural, gasometría arterial, espirometría, diagnóstico de ortodoxia, Ecocardiograma con pasaje de burbuja y determinación estimada de PSVD y posterior cateterismo derecho. Resultados: Las complicaciones pulmonares de la HP estuvieron presentes en (20%), HH (10%), SHP (4%) y HPP (6%), mortalidad (14%). Conclusión: Las patologías pulmonares secundarias a HP ameritan ser sospechadas para diagnosticarlas. Se encontraron pacientes diagnosticados con HH, SHP e HPP como complicaciones de la HP. Pacientes con complicación pulmonar secundaria a HP resultan con mayor riesgo de morbi mortalidaden_US
