In this work we report the results of an investigation on the hydrolysis of Al3? 10 aged in 3.0 mol L-1 (Na)Cl ionic medium at 25 C, in the ranges of Al(III) concentration 11 0.0125 B B B 0.1000 mol L-1 and average number of H? released, or OH- bound per 12 metal atom of 0.1 B Z B 1.5. The analysis of the emf(H) data, first in terms of the 13 core ? links hypothesis and, subsequently, by using the generalized least-squares program 14 LETAGROP, indicates formation of the complexes [Al2(OH)2]4?, [Al3(OH)4]5?, [Al13(- 15 OH)30]9?, [Al13(OH)32]7? and [Al13(OH)34]5?. The species distribution diagrams are 16 briefly discussed.en_US
