Abstract: The immune system is a stimulus response organic structure whose outstanding feature is its extraordinary specificity. Its physiologic expression (the immune response is a complex and highly sophisticated biologic process) is not only designed to provide the host with immunity but also to cooperate with other body systems in keeping appropriate conditions of self-antigenic homeostasis.
