| dc.description.abstract | La hepatitis vírica B constituye un problema importante de salud pública a nivel mundial. La relevancia epidemiológica de esta infección radica fundamentalmente en las diferentes fases evolutivas de la enfermedad (aguda y crónica) y en la existencia de portadores, quienes sin manifestaciones clínicas ni bioquímicas de enfermedad hepática mantienen en el suero el antígeno superficial de la hepatitis B (AgHBs). Estos portadores, por tanto, son capaces de transmitir su carga antigénica y pueden, además, presentar hepatopatías en algún momento de la vida. | en_US |
