| Abstract: | Objetivo: Analizar los aspectos bioéticos presentes en las encíclicas de Juan Pablo II. Métodos: la investigación fue realizada bajo un diseño bibliográfico de tipo documental descriptivo, utilizando el análisis de contenido cuantitativo como técnica de investigación. Las unidades de análisis fueron las 14 encíclicas escritas por Juan Pablo II. Se cuantificaron y se construyeron matrices de frecuencia por categorías relacionadas a la bioética; encontrándose 338 categorías, las de mayores frecuencias fueron: vida, hombre, moral, derecho, aborto, ética, dignidad, persona. Conclusiones: dentro de una sociedad humana la vida tiene un valor intangible, el obrar ético del hombre está determinado por la razón y la verdad, es un deber respetar los derechos del hombre y la dignidad de la persona humana. Objective: Analyze the bioethical aspects present in the encyclicals of John Paul II. Methods: the research was carried out under a bibliographic design of a descriptive documentary type, using quantitative content analysis as a research technique. The units of analysis were the 14 encyclicals written by John Paul II. Frequent matrices were quantified and constructed by categories related to bioethics; finding 338 categories, the most frequent were: life, man, moral, law, abortion, ethics, dignity, and person. Conclusions: within a human society life has an intangible value, the ethical work of man is determined by reason and truth, and it is a duty to respect the rights of man and the dignity of the human person |
