APLICACIÓN DE NUEVAS PRÁCTICAS EDUCATIVAS TIPO KAIZEN PARA LA ENSEÑANZA – APRENDIZAJE EN INGENIERÍA DE PRODUCCIÓN / Implementation of New Kaizen Type Educational Practices for Teaching - Learning in Production Engineering

Resumen

Este trabajo describe la experiencia de innovación de los procesos de enseñanza – aprendizaje mediante la aplicación de técnicas de mejoramiento continuo tipo kaizen para la realización de actividades académicas en la carrera de Ingeniería de Producción de la Universidad Simón Bolívar, específicamente para la asignatura Gestión de Producción. Se describen las iniciativas tomadas, las implicaciones de esta forma de trabajo y sus resultados. Se hace énfasis en los aspectos metodológicos y académicos que configuran esta experiencia, y adicionalmente en la mayor complejidad observada para la coordinación de los eventos y aspectos claves para superar las dificultades que surgen en una experiencia educativa de este tipo.

ABSTRACT
This paper describes an innovation experiment in the teaching - learning process through the application of Kaizen-type techniques of continuous improvement on activities in the degree course of Production Engineering at the Universidad Simón Bolívar, specifically the Production Management course. It describes the initiatives taken, the implications of this work style and its results. Emphasis is placed on academic and methodological issues that shape the experiment and additionally the increased complexity observed for the coordination of events and the key to overcoming the difficulties that arise in educational experiments of this type.
