Abstract

Esta segunda parte plantea que el cambio climático tiene un impacto en la salud humana, afectando tanto directa como indirectamente los determinantes ambientales y sociales de la salud. A tomar en cuenta que el sector salud, aunque tiene la misión de proteger, es un importante contribuyente a la crisis climática. La exposición a partículas, especialmente de pequeño calibre, tiene efectos adversos en la salud humana, afectando los sistemas respiratorio y cardiovascular. Es crucial abordar la contaminación
del aire para proteger la salud y reducir la mortalidad prematura.
