Abstract

ABSTRACT
In March 2004, Grupo Actoral 80 (GA80) performed in Caracas the play El día que me quieras (Cabrujas, 1979). Thus, based on Martín Barbero' (1987) and Rivas' (2002) ideas, the article discuses this Cabrujas performance, emphasizing the tension in it of the Marxist discourse and the Mass Culture, in order to understand its political sense in today's Venezuelan context.
