de largo, suculento, jugoso, dulce, verde claro, rojizo oamarillo púrpura cuando maduro, con numerosas semillaspequeñas (Albornoz, 1993; Hoyos, 1989; Juscafresa,1995; Mérola, 1986; Morton, 1981; Wren, 1975).
