Two new species of Dyscinetus Harold from Argentina (Coleoptera: Scarabaeidae: Dynastinae: Cyclocephalini)

Abstract

Two new species of Dyscinetus from Argentina are described: D. martinezi sp. n. from Salta Province and D. australis sp. n. from Río Negro, Neuquen and Buenos Aires Provinces, both are compared with D. rugifrons (Burmeister, 1847). Illustrations of key characters and a distribution map for the new species are included.
