Two species of ticks of the genus Amblyomma (Acari: Ixodidae) on dogs of the Aragua state, Venezuela

Abstract

The first report of Amblyomma maculatum and A. parvum collected from Rottweiler and crossbred dogs, in Aragua state are presented. This is the first report of A. parvum on dogs in Venezuela.
