Primeros registros y Clave fotográfica para larvas de Odonata (Insecta) del Parque Nacional Yurubí, Yaracuy-Venezuela

Abstract

For the Yurubi National Park of the Cordillera de la Costa bioregion, ten gEnera or species of Odonata larvae are recorded for the first time, corresponding to: Argia oculata Hagen in Selys, 1865; Brechmorhoga Kirby, 1894; Bromeliagrion De Marmels in De Marmels & Garrison, 2005; Enallagma novaehispaniae Calvert, 1902; Lestes forficula Rambur, 1842; Libellula herculea Karsch, 1889; Palaemnema sp Selys, 1860; Progomphus pygmaeus Selys, 1873; Rhionaeschna cornigera Brauer, 1865 and Sympetrum gilvum Selys, 1884; is emphasized in the description of the Bromeliagrion larva as a potential new species; finally, a photographic taxonomic key is provided for all species and/or genera identified in this study
