LA BIBLIOTECA CONVERGENTE: DE LO LOCAL A LO GLOBAL

Abstract

Se expone una panorámica de las distintas propuestas terminológicas que han buscado representar la transformación de las bibliotecas en la era digital, alzando la voz de la biblioteca convergente como un concepto integrador que apuesta no sólo por la presencia de las variables tecnológicas en las instituciones bibliotecarias, sino por la génesis y confluencia en una sola dirección de sus procesos y recursos, gracias a la aplicación del enfoque “glocal”. Finalmente, el desarrollo integral del presente trabajo queda enmarcado por medio de reflexiones atinentes, argumentadas sobre la base de peritos en la materia.

An overview of the different provisional expressions that have been used for the transformation of libraries in the digital era is presented, as well as the presence of technological variables in library libraries, but by the genesis and confluence in one direction of its processes and resources, thanks to the application of the "glocal" approach. Finally, the integral development of the present work is framed by means of pertinent reflections, argued on the basis of experts in the matter.
