El reportaje informativo en la sección Cultural del Nacional: Sus Características (1990-1999)

Abstract

La presente monografía, resume las características formales del reportaje informativo en la sección cultural de El Nacional durante la década de los noventa (siglo XX). Así, ofrece como sustento referencial, las definiciones de comunicación y cultura para una más clara comprensión del periodismo cultural. Fija los antecedentes de esta especialidad en Venezuela; refiere la historia de El Nacional en tanto que precursor del periodismo cultural en el país, gracias a los aportes de Miguel Otero Silva; y señala las características de las páginas culturales de El Nacional durante los años noventa. Luego, desarrolla el concepto de reportaje y distingue sus potencialidades. Finalmente, evalúa las particularidades del reportaje informativo en la mencionada sección y describe el tratamiento dado a este género periodístico, de acuerdo con los resultados obtenidos en la investigación.

SUMMARY The present monograph, it summarizes the formal characteristics of the informative news article in the cultural section of the El Nacional newspaper during the nineties (century XX). Also, it offers as referential sustenance, the definitions of communication and culture for a clearer understanding of the cultural journalism. It establishes the antecedents of this specialty in Venezuela; it refers the history of the El Nacional, it indicates the characteristics of the cultural pages of El Nacional during the nineties. Soon, it develops the news article concept and it distinguishes its potentialities. Finally, it evaluates the particularitities of the informative news article in the mentioned section and describes the given treatment to this journalistic sort, in agreement with the results obtained in the investigation.
