Diseño de un proyecto de señalética para el museo de Bellas Artes

Abstract

Uno de los problemas actuales que confrontan los grupos humanos, los individuos y la sociedad en general, es el problema asociado con la necesidad de orientación e información en cualquier ámbito geográfico o arquitectónico, agravado por el ingente crecimiento poblacional, la movilidad social, y los cambios tecnológicos. En ese sentido, la presente investigación propone un diseño señalético para el Museo de Bellas Artes de Caracas, a fin de mejorar su actual señalización, y por ende, mejorar la comunicación interna de esa Institución para así facilitar la circulación y acceso de los visitantes a las áreas de su interés de manera expedita y segura. Para lograr los objetivos propuestos se realizo una investigación documental, y de tipo transeccional descriptivo, apoyada en un estudio exploratorio mediante una encuesta realizada a los empleados del Museo de Bellas Artes, para conocer su opinión acerca de su señalización actual así como su apreciación sobre el comportamiento de los visitantes enmarcado en la búsqueda de orientación e información. De la investigación se desprende de manera clara que el Museo de Bellas Artes no cuenta con una señalización adecuada y por esa razón en este trabajo se propone un proyecto alternativo que contribuya a resolver los problemas presentes de información y orientación dentro de esa Institución.

SUMMARY One of the present problems that confront the human groups, the individuals and the society in general, is the problem associated with the direction necessity and information in any geographic or architectonic space, agravated scope by the enormous population growth, social mobility, and the technological changes. In that sense, the present investigation proposes a signalizing design for the Museum of Beautiful Arts of Caracas, in order to improve its present signaling, and therefore, to improve the internal communication of that Institution thus to facilitate the circulation and access from the visitors to the areas of its interest of expeditious and safe way. In order to obtain the proposed objectives I am made a documentary investigation,and of descriptive discretionary type, supported in an exploratory study by means of a survey made the Beautiful employees of the Museum of Arts, to know its opinion about its present signaling as well as its appreciation on the behavior of the visitors framed in the search of direction and information. Of the investigation it is come off clear way that the Museum of Beautiful Arts does not count on a suitable signaling and for that reason in this work an alternative project sets out that contributes to solve the present problems of information and direction within that Institution.
