| dc.description.abstract | La presente investigación tiene como objetivo fundamental estudiar a Caracas como tema fotográfico en dos autores contemporáneos de la fotografía venezolana, Antolín Sánchez y Nicola Rocco; a partir de la teoría del lenguaje fotográfico y la teórica semiótica y, de esta forma, explicar cómo es representada y cómo se comunica la ciudad desde las diferentes visiones de estos autores. Abstract The main purpose of this research is to study the city of Caracas as a photographic theme in the work of two contemporary Venezuelan photographers: Antolín Sánchez y Nichola Rocco, based on the semiotic and photographic languages theories.
