| Abstract: | El aprendizaje como competencia bioética durante los estudios de medicina que pueda ser utilizado como referencia e instrumento para abordar situaciones y tomar decisiones en los problemas y dilemas del quehacer médico diario, es casi nulo en nuestros sistemas educativos por ausencia de formación estructurada y constante sobre el tema, en los programas académicos de pregrado Objetivo: Determinar las diferencias en las competencias bioéticos adquiridas por los estudiantes de medicina de primero y último año de la Escuela Razetti de la Facultad de Medicina de la UCV, durante su formación académica. Métodos: información obtenida a través de una encuesta realizada estudiantes de primer y último año en medicina. Resultados: las diferencias más significativas en las competencias bioéticas de las dos cohortes, se observaron 4 de 5 preguntas (80%) relacionadas con el principio bioético de no maleficencia, seguido por el de autonomía con diferencias significativas en 3 de 5 preguntas (60%). La menor diferencia ocurrió en el principio de justicia en solo 1 de 5 preguntas para un 20%, seguido del principio beneficencia en 40% de las preguntas o sea 2 de 5. Learning as bioethical competences during medical studies that can be used as a reference and instrument to address situations and make decisions in the problems and dilemmas of daily medical work, is almost null in our educational systems due to the absence of structured and constant training on the subject in undergraduate academic programs Objective: Determine the difference betwen the bioethical competences acquired by the first and last year medical students of the Razetti School of the Faculty of Medicine of the UCV during their academic training. Methods: information obtained through a survey conducted by first- and last-year medical students. Results: the most significant differences in the bioethical competencies of the two cohorts, 4 of 5 questions (80%) related to the bioethical principle of nonmaleficence were observed, followed by that of autonomy with significant differences in 3 of 5 questions (60%).
