| Abstract: | En Venezuela, el cine documental se ha caracterizado por ser un
cine de carácter social con alto contenido informativo. Las
distintas situaciones que el país ha atravesado se han prestado
para que muchos documentalistas realicen obras audiovisuales
con el objetivo de ser vistas por el público y de transmitir
mensajes contundentes. El cine documental ha enfrentado
circunstancias difíciles en cuanto a políticas distribución y
exhibición se refiere, por lo que ha tenido que desplazarse a
formas alternativas para llegar a los espectadores. A pesar de los
pocos lugares que existen para que el público los disfrute y de
estar constantemente tratando de ganar espacios claros dentro de
la competencia audiovisual nacional, el género documental y la
producción del mismo sigue existiendo. ¿Para quién trabajan los
documentalistas? ¿Por qué no cesa el interés por las
producciones documentales? ¿En qué espacios se encuentra el
público con el cine documental? La realización de un reportaje de
corte interpretativo permitirá responder estas preguntas, mediante
la visión de los distintos actores involucrados en este contexto. In Venezuela, documentary film has been characterized as a social film with high information content. The different situations that the country has gone through has made many documentary filmmakers develop audiovisual works in order to be viewed by the public and to transmit strong messages. Documentary film has faced difficult circumstances in terms of distribution and exhibition policies refers it has been displaced to alternative ways to reach viewers. Despite the few places that exist for the public to enjoy and to be constantly trying to win clear spaces in the national audiovisual competition, the documentary genre and the production of it remains. For whom documentary filmmakers work? Why does not stop the interest in the documentary productions? Where sees the public the documentary film? The completion of an interpretative report will answer these questions, by viewing the different actors involved in this context. |
