Abstract

El rock, como estética musical, posee una serie de códigos que se tornan de difícil compresión para ciertos oyentes. Esto se debe a que el receptor no siempre tiene la capacidad para entender el mensaje que se transmite en este canal, originándose así un ruido en el proceso comunicacional. Para comprender, y luego disfrutar, de este género musical, se debe adoptar la postura del oyente activo: aquel que escucha “algo”. De esta forma, se podrá entender, de forma más global, el auténtico mensaje contenido en el rock. El siguiente trabajo comprende un conjunto de técnicas para que, aquellos receptores enajenados de este género musical, puedan disfrutar plenamente, sin distorsión, de este género. Es necesario precisar que se abordó al rock desde varias estéticas o variantes musicales, para así lograr una aproximación de la pluralidad de formas que este se manifiesta. Desde el primer rock ‘n’ roll hasta las tendencias más extremas del metal, ¿Cómo se escucha el rock?
