| Abstract: | RESUMEN Los y las jóvenes no están exentos de la violencia de género. Es una realidad poco visible y estudiada, razón por la que la presente investigación, tuvo como objetivo explorar la violencia que se manifiesta en el noviazgo en jóvenes estudiantes de la Universidad Central de Venezuela, a través de un enfoque cualitativo. Para esto, se realizaron trece entrevistas en profundidad (siete chicos y seis chicas), cuyos resultados se agruparon en los siguientes temas: estereotipos y roles de género, relaciones de poder, concepciones del noviazgo, violencia y aprendizajes para lograr cambios. Se recomienda realizar talleres de sensibilización e investigaciones para profundizar el tema. Términos claves: Violencia, jóvenes, noviazgo, género. ABSTRACT Nowadays young people are not exempt from gender violence. It is a less studied and visible reality, this is the reason why the research had as main objective, to explore the violence that shows up in young student courtships from “La Universidad Central de Venezuela” basing on a qualitative approach. For this research, had been done thirteen (13) deep interviews (seven girls and seven boys). The results were summarized in the following way: stereotypes and gender roles, powerful relationships, courtship conceptions, violence and learnt lessons to make notable changes. It is recommendable to make researching and sensibilization workshops to get deep into the topic. |
