Rasgos de la personalidad en músicos de orquestas a través de las variables estructurales del psicodiagnóstico de Rorschach.

Abstract

El presente estudio tiene como objetivo describir los rasgos de personalidad de instrumentistas de cuerda frotada, viento madera, viento metal y percusión de una muestra de músicos de orquesta de la ciudad de Caracas, evaluada a través del Psicodiagnóstico de Rorschach según del Sistema Comprehensivo de Exner, mediante un estudio transeccional descriptivo. La muestra estuvo conformada por 125 músicos de orquesta, de ambos sexos, entre 18 y 62 años, distribuidos equitativamente en los cuatro grupos de instrumentistas. El RIAP 5 arrojó los estadísticos descriptivos para las variables del Rorschach. Se encontraron diferencias estadísticamente significativas, mediante el programa SPSS, entre los cuatro grupos de instrumentistas en las variables a, DQ+, EA, 3r+(2) /R y CDI. Se concluyó que los instrumentistas de cuerda frotada, a pesar de que tienen suficientes recursos, se caracterizan por ser emocionalmente inmaduros y con mayor grado de autocrítica negativa; los de viento madera son más equilibrados, realistas y escrupulosos; los de viento metal los más gregarios, simplistas y menos creativos y los percusionistas resultaron ser los más creativos, narcisistas y enérgicos y con mayor sofisticación cognitiva. Abstract The objective of this study is to describe the personality traits of string players, woodwinds, metal wind and percussion musicians of a sample of orchestral musicians from the city of Caracas, evaluated through Rorschach Psychodiagnostic Test according to the Comprehensive System of Exner, through a descriptive transectional study. The sample consisted of 125 orchestral musicians, of both sexes, between 18 and 62 years old, distributed equally among the four groups of instrumentalists. The RIAP 5 yielded the descriptive statistics for the Rorschach variables. Statistically significant differences were found, through the SPSS program, between the four groups of instrumentalists in the variables a, DQ+, EA, 3r+(2)/R y CDI. It was concluded that bowed string players, despite having sufficient resources, are characterized by being emotionally immature and with a higher degree of negative self-criticism; woodwinds are more balanced, realistic and scrupulous; those of metal wind the most gregarious, simplistic and less creative and the percussionists turned out to be the most creative, narcissistic and energetic and with greater cognitive sophistication.
