El servicio comunitario en la UCV: articulación Universidad-Estado-Comunidad. EUS-Barcelona

Abstract

El objetivo de esta investigación fue optimizar el desarrollo del Servicio Comunitario en la Escuela de Educación de la Facultad de Humanidades y Educación de la Universidad Central de Venezuela, específicamente en el EUS-Barcelona mediante la relación estado-comunidad- universidad para lograr cumplir con la premisa de que la universidad debe servir para resolver los problemas del ser humano sean estos sociales, científicos, tecnológicos o de cualquier otra índole. El estudio se sustenta en la teoría del aprendizaje significativo de Ausubel, ya que el pasante construye nuevos conocimientos a través de herramientas ya adquiridas; la investigación es de campo y se pretende a partir de una realidad concreta demostrar la necesidad de cambiar la forma como se desarrolla el servicio comunitario de EUS. Para ello se aplicaron entrevistas y cuestionarios a una población de 22 estudiantes, cursantes de la catedra servicio comunitario, los resultados se tabularon y presentaron a través de cuadros y graficas estadísticas. La investigación arrojo entre otros resultados la necesidad de crear un banco de proyectos donde participen la Universidad, Comunidad y el Estado.

ABSTRACT: The objetive of the present investigation was to optimise the develop of communitary service at the Education School of Humanities Faculty and Education of Central of Venezuela University, specifically at E.U.S- Barcelona by mean the relation State- Community- University to reach to carry out with the premise that university must serve to solve the problems of human being, it be socials, scientists, technologics or any one nature. The study is supported on significative learning of Ausubel, due to the student built new knowledge through the tools already acquiered; the investigation is a field’s investigation and it pretend on the base of a concret reality to show the necessity of to change the way as the communitary service of EUS is developed. To do it intervieus and questionaires was applied to the population of 22 students, that course of comunitary service, the results was tabulate and presented through the squares and stadistic grafics. The investigation showed between other results, the necessity of to create a bank of proyects where university, community and state can participate
