dc.description.abstractOn December 6, 2015 was elect the new National Assembly (NA), for the period 2016-2020, the NA is an institution that's approve the laws in Venezuela. There were the first time that's “chavizta regime” the opposition won (112 of 167) of deputies, this is considered qualified majority. However the national government with the president Nicolas Maduro through the Supreme Court of Justice (SCJ) with the Constitutional Hall (CH) suspended an indigenous deputies from Amazonas State. From this moment the attacks to NA were increasing until the CH declared the NA out of order, assuming the CH the function of the NA. The president Nicolas Maduro on May 1, 2016 calling the election of a National Constituent Assembly (NCA) that’s in fact eliminate to the democratic NA elected in 2015. From here the democracy in Venezuela is under siege.en_US
